Our Story For over 20 years, Granada United Futbol Club has offered our players the skills and determination required to excel to their fullest potential in the sport of soccer. We focus on the fundamentals of soccer, and once players have mastered the foundations, they are given the opportunity to execute their skills on the field. GUFC contributes to mental and physical player preparation for all levels of competition. We were one of the first clubs nationwide to bridge the gap between youth and adult soccer. Players travel to state, regional, and national games, which provide them with the opportunity for increased exposure in further competitive atmospheres. At these events, players may also display their talent to potential coaches at club, Olympic, college-level, and beyond. Our program is unique on its own. Even though the common & kick-and-run & style of play produces more wins at the beginner level, it does little to prepare a player for the highest levels of competition. Even though we emphasize the importance of winning, our main priority is for a player to develop long-term growth. We progress through our trademark & ball possession & style of play. We believe in the effectiveness of our program, and the results speak for themselves. We have participated in and earned multiple leagues, tournament, and state championship wins over the years. Many former GUFC players have gone on to exhibit their skills at the state, regional, national, collegiate, and even professional levels of competition. Despite our countless achievements, our greatest accomplishment is helping facilitate a considerable amount of player development both on and off the field.
